The long-standing Audi A4 model series is now called the Audi A5 with the debut of the latest generation mid-size luxury range. The new Audi A5 Avant seamlessly blends striking design with powerful proportions, offering an intuitive digitised interior, powerful drive system and that unmistakable versatility.

The all-new A5 Avant combines powerful proportions, clean design and characteristic versatility. The unmistakable sporty design language is enhanced by the steeply raked D-pillars that sit purposefully on the distinctive rear quattro blisters.
A leading light.
The striking new matrix LED lighting signature features digital daytime running lights which offer multiple light signatures selectable via the MMI, giving the A5 Avant a unique look.
Futuristic sense of space.
The luxurious interior creates a generous feeling of space and is seamlessly complemented with innovative and purposeful technologies including the MMI panoramic display and optional MMI passenger display.
Progressive and expressive.
The A5 Avant is available with a choice of exterior finishes that impressively showcase the design language including the newly available Horizon blue (shown) and Grenadine red metallic. Opting for the Style package enhances the look with the Black exterior styling package featuring gloss black appointments, dark chrome tailpipe trims and anthracite grey Audi rings.
Versatile by design.
The roomy and versatile interior of the A5 Avant – with 476 litre luggage capacity and up to 1,425 litres with the rear seats folded down – make it the practical all-rounder.

The visually deep and wide front end of the vehicle has a particularly sporty appearance thanks to the wide Singleframe with honeycomb structure, narrow headlights, reduced bumper design and aerodynamically shaped air intakes.

Fascinating down to the detail. Take the door handles: flush with the body, delivering improved aerodynamics and minimalist finish, seamlessly activated via an inductive sensor.
Illuminating display.
The Matrix LED headlights with dynamic light sequencing and dynamic indicators provide precise, high-resolution illumination of the road. The three-dimensionally designed headlights emphasise the progressive look while the selectable daytime running light signature adds a high degree of personalisation.
Sophistication in motion.
The Audi A5 Avant is fitted with alluring 19” Audi Sport alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke in black metallic as standard. Enhance the sporty appearance by opting for the Style package which includes 20” Audi Sport alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke design in black metallic gloss turned finish (shown).

Seamlessly melding design and functionality, the characteristic steeply raked rear completes the powerful appearance and opens to the generous luggage compartment.
A panoramic display.
The 11.9” Audi virtual cockpit and 14.5” MMI touch displays are integrated into the driver-oriented curved MMI panoramic display offering rich OLED technology and intuitive functionality. With the help of the optional MMI passenger display, front passengers can support the driver in navigation or access entertainment functions.
Light the way.
Available as part of the Premium package, the interaction light – a wide colour spectrum dynamic light strip below the windscreen – not only provides informative and situation-appropriate support for the driver but also sets an impressive staging for the interior.

Purposefully integrated into the handle of the driver’s door, the smart door panel contains the most essential functions including settings to aid visibility such as light controls, window defrost and heated mirrors – all within easy reach when needed.

Innovative and captivating. The optional panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency – consisting six individual segments – allows sections of the roof to turn opaque via preset profiles in the MMI touch.

The Powerclick system enables easy installation while the lockable lid can be opened from both sides for ease of access. Finished in Brilliant black with silver Audi rings decals as standard².
